UPSC Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination 2016 Download the Admit Cards Union Public Service Commission

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), which conducts the Combined Go-Scientist and Geologist Examination, 2016 has released the admit card on its official website.

The written test for the post of Geophysicist, Geologist, Chemists, and Junior Hydro geologists in Geological Survey of India and Central Ground Water Board will be held on May 13, 14 and 15, 2016.

All the candidates are advised to follow the below steps for downloading the admit cards :

• All the candidates need to visit the official website, www.upsc.gov.in
• Then click on the link, 'Download the admit card for Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination 2016'
• All the applicants need to fill in the registration number, roll number, and date of birth at the relevant boxes
• The candidates need to take download the admit card and take print out of the same for carrying it to the examination.

Examination pattern:

All the candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and interview.

The written examination will have conventional (essay) type questions divided into four papers. The maximum marks for General English will be 100 while the remaining papers will be of 200 marks.

• Geologists' exam will consist of General English, Geology Paper-I, II and III
• Geophysicists' exam will have General English, Geophysicist Paper-I, II and III
• Chemists' exam will have General English, Chemistry Paper-I, II and III
• Junior Hydro geologist examination will have Geology paper I and II, Hydro geology.
